Gun Control

I could not even begin to understand why would a common "law abiding" citizen require a semi-automatic machine gun. To contemplate about the statistical significance of such a tragedy, clearly underlines the fact that, such person, does not understand the intent/applicability of statistics* nor understand human emotions.

*To state "However, one child in 100,000 dies from an adverse reaction to the vaccine. Clearly the vaccine itself would cause more deaths than mass killings, so it’s a net negative if we are trying to minimize unnecessary deaths" clearly indicates the author has no idea of how statistics work.
  • Can the author comprehend what is the statistical probability in which 20 children living that attend the same school die due to such vaccination?
  • If such an event happens, would the author still have his/her child or thyself be vaccinated?
  • Would the author suggest that such an event is beyond the scope of a federal/government intervention?
Most other statistical data the author presents such as a medical error (lawsuits against the institution helps here) or tobacco use (person affected is liable for thy actions, so no broken hears there) are so dubious, the whole article is ridiculous at best.
