NASA's Asteroid Initiative Benefits

If this does not catch ones mind, I am not sure, what will. As a science enthusiast & an engineer, this is an scientific-engineering feet that makes me drool.

NASA's FY2014 budget proposal includes a plan to robotically capture a small near-Earth asteroid and redirect it safely to a stable orbit in the Earth-moon system where astronauts can visit and explore it.

It is also one of those rare moments, that I am sorry that I am not a US citizen (so I can take part in the endeavor & not just be a spectator).
